This position is critical to the company’s ability to continue to pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence, and in particular high speed autonomous data fusion, analysis and decision support. You will be directly contributing to Torch.AI’s R&D efforts in a real-world customer centric environment. Ownership and Influence
- Build and improve visual tools for application development and data science that enable users to build an end-to-end AI application quickly.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, User Interaction Designers, and Front-End/Back-End Engineers.
- Develop data models and analytics to meet mission requirements.
- Test service artifacts for accuracy and performance.
- Pull or receive command and control files.
- Test services artifacts for correctness and/or performance.
Critical Skills
- B.S. degree in related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software / operations / data experience.
- Capable of implementing Python services using Flask and have knowledge of RESTful services, JSON parsing and querying, Kubernetes is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and EC2 (excluding managed services) is essential.

- Ability to translate data between various formats including JSON, Parquet, Avro, and proprietary formats used by Halo.
- Knowledge in Spark, Kafka, and Airflow is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Eligible for Top Secrect security clearance.
