Ownership and Influence  

• Develop and execute special projects related to defense innovation, technology acquisition, and force modernization in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and research organizations to leverage expertise and foster innovative campaigns for the company aligned to long-term strategic goals. 
• Encompass highly effective communication and program management abilities.  
• Manage the implementation of our Secure Facility project, ensuring its success and alignment with organizational goals. 
• Cultivate strong relationships with local communities, government agencies, and industry partners to promote collaboration and growth opportunities. 
• Serve as a liaison with AFCEA, actively participating in events and initiatives to advance our objectives within the defense community. 
• Possess the initiative to independently initiate actions, make recommendations, and proficiently track, manage, and develop mid-term and long-term strategic plans, which typically span. 
• Demonstrate a solid comprehension of the Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community agencies, along with a broad understanding of their respective missions.

• 5 years of experience within the Department of Defense or Military service.  
• Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, public policy, military studies, or a related field.

• A strong understanding of government relations policies and processes, or at least familiarity with them. 
• Though not required, experience collaborating with industry partners, such as AFCEA and other similar networking and development organizations, is considered advantageous.
